Regional business councils could boost Iran’s private sector trade

TEHRAN – Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines chairman stated here on Monday that forming separate joint business councils with Latin American, Central American, and North American countries could help promote the country’s private sector trade ties.
Mohammad Nahavandian told IRNA that the Iranian private sector can turn the current global economic crisis into an opportunity to broaden its trade relations with the world.In this line, the Iran-Africa Joint Business Council has already been established and a plan for the expansion of economic relations with European countries has been developed, he noted.
